    Whirlpool Aero Car

Whirlpool Aerocar is a scenic picture stop. The Whirlpool Aero vehicle was built by a Spanish engineer, Leonardo Torres Quevedo, and has been in use since 1916. The cable car is strung from six strong cables and provides a spectacular view of the Niagara Whirlpool, which forms at the end of the rapids as the valley rapidly swings anticlockwise and the river escapes through the gorge's narrowest channel. Far below, the torrent of water abruptly changes course, creating one of the world's most captivating natural phenomena - the Niagara Whirlpool.
