    Lawrence Tours

    You will be picked up at your downtown hotel at 10 am and then driven through Vancouver and toward Stanley Park, the biggest urban park in North America. A guide will explain the carvings and cultural cues found throughout the totem park when you visit there. Natural treasures include trees that are more than a thousand years old and the area's rich history. After visiting the big mansion in Shaughnessy, we travel via the west end to the Granville Island Public Market for lunch. Following our tour of the island, we continue to the Olympic Village and Yaletown for a blend of the new and the old, before making our way to the great Chinatown. You'll stop at a Chinese tea shop before seeing the Dr. Sun Yat Sen Chinese Gardens. After that, proceed to Gastown where your guide will recount the tale of Gassy Jack and explain how Vancouver grew to be such a significant trading hub. If time permits, we can also visit the Le Casa, a 238-flavor ice cream palace. On the way back to your hotel, your guide will recommend a few fine eateries and additional activities to round out your day.
