Is he still buried on the jail grounds? Participate in our mini-mock trial and make your own decision!
The canal, which was constructed as a military undertaking to create a safe connection between Montreal and Kingston, has seen heavy recreational use over the past century. The Rideau system was recognised as a Canadian Heritage River in 2000. It is one of the oldest continually operating canals in North America and features 24 hand-operated lock stations. In 2007, UNESCO named the canal a World Heritage site.
Come inside one of North America's spookiest structures! As you tour the cellblock, death row, and the final operational gallows in Canada, you will hear the spooky ghost stories and learn about the grim past.
